Comfort 2, firmware 5.045, problem with recording messages?

Recently every time going into message menu (F-4), after the system say \"leave your message after the tone\", then the RS485 communication is interrupted: the Mic\' red LED does not lid on, all 02 keypad and 1 door phone continuing with beep, beep... After reset, the system is normally working, and once going to answering machine, recording voice the problem is there after saying \"leave your message after the tone\"!

is that due to bug in firmware as below mention ?

No, those other reported issues are not related. What you have described is not a bug. It seems like a wiring or connection or configuration problem
Can you disconnect everything except the keypad. Load a default template and try the recording again? If it works then the problem is with the configuration or the way you have made the other connections

What firmware vertsion are you using?

I have checked the wiring and saw nothing wrong. Also checked with your suggest configuration: only 1 KP with default simple .ccl file, and find that:

The beep - beep - continuously is no more on KP, but the phrase \'Thank you, good bye\' is heard right after the \"leave your...\" (or right after \"say your name\" in record user name, or in record greeting message for user...) so nothing can be recorded.


The firmware version that is ULTRA 5.045 as label on U1 of Comfort, or 5 45 24 1 in Engineer menu (7,4,3).

Sorry, it was my mistake. 5.045 is an early version  firmware which does have a bug in the recorded messages when the messages are full. Just delete all messages to allow recording again. We will send you replacement firmware
