System Halt during Power Trip

Dear Chui,

I have a case when the power trip. The system will halt and no response on the keypad. When the power is back and on the system still hang. We then remove the battery and power AC24 and plug back in. The system back to normal.

This problem can be easily simulated by swithing off the power supply to the house and turning back on.

Please advise.

You need to give the full information about this system
What product is this, Comfort I or Comfort II and what is the firmware version?
When was this installed and when did this start to happen?

Does this always happen when the power goes off?

Have you checked what is the battery voltage at the battery terminals when the power is switched off? How long has the battery been used? Batteries need replacing once every few years. If the battery voltage is to low then the system will not work
