Yes, the beeps are quite loud. I use KP02 (with its IR Receiver re-sited to my living room) to control lights. Its annoying when watching TV / movies and there are beeps whenever I dim/brighten the lights

I am not using the RC01 remote 

Does the remote used make any difference?
