Hi All,

Since some time ago my WC flood detector automatically start giving an alarm that is activated. I reset the central after that keep ok but only for a while. After a time it goes to the alarm again.

I have 3 Flood detectors WC suite , WC Social , WC Kitchen.

At first it was the WC Suite that start\'s the alarm.... and after a few times i turned off... the issue don\'t happened anymore... good.

Some days passed with the detector off and last week it started the WC Social giving the alarm. I do a reset on the central and after some hours or days (dont\' have a fixed time to do the alarm) it start giving the alarm. Today the same happened one hour ago...

I keep the I/0 monitor running and copied the report. If it helps on the tracking of the issue here it it . Please help me for i don\'t have to take it of all the flood detectors and to not die drown

My central was updated some days ago but this error was already happening before.

The I/O monitor shows that Input 5 is activated causing alarm type 28
I dont know if that is the floood alarm

Inputs being activated can only be because of the detector. Comfort cannot cause an input to be activated so I suggest you check the detector. Perhaps it is too sensitive
Are you using double end of line resistors or no resistors? You must check that the zne shunts are correctly set in each case

the input5 is the I_WCSocial.... that\'s the flood detector...

How can i check if the zone shunt\'s are ok? if i post a pic of the detector can you help me?

It\'s because i already talked with Domopor... but they said that will the the issue and no answer till now.

when i arrive home i\'ll post a pic of the detector... the detector\'s are brand new.. they replaced it and add a new \"mini-board\" they were ok for 2 / 3 months after they changed them. but with no changes they start with that issue.

The Installation Manual download from https://www.cytech.biz/installation_manual.html shows how End of Line resistors are connected
and the position of the shunts

I dont think a photo of the flood detector will help

Zone shunts JZ5 should be inserted in position on 2 pin shunt away from the terminal block is EOL resistors are used and closer to the terminal block if EOL resistors are not used

What is a EOL Resistor? sorry for this.. but i have to know it because if i am waiting for the vendor i get spider cobwebs

EOL is End Of Line Resistor
The installation manual explains what they are used for
But you need to know if they are installed?

hummm how can i see that? in the central? in the detectors?

hummm ok... i\'ll see that after work . that are that 2 prongs that are almost closed to the floor?
