Hi after finally upgrading the whole of my system with a new Main Board, 2 New Slaves and New UCMs I and trying to snag a few problem.
The first of which is connection issues to The ETH3
I have had issues when connecting via the iPhone app in that as I am trying to either or disarm it will quite often comes up with Dismiss or Login again.
I went into Server manager to see if I could resolve the issue and have found I cannot edit any of the info and the following items in Server manager are flashing rapidly.
Any ideas on what can be causing this?
can you give me the serial number on the eth0 submodule? I think O have seen this once befre
time out after 2 seconds?
Time out 2 seconds should not affect this
Sub Module P11251

Can you do a reset to default as described here? http://www.comfortforums.com/forum113/4417.html
Sorry for not replying sooner, my wife was taken seriously ill so did not have time to try.
I have done the reset as described a couple of times, still the same I am afraid, after resetting the Eth03 it did disappear from the module list until I shut and re-opened Configurator
Any advice as what to try next?

Regards
Joules
Hi Joules, I hope your wife is OK
It could be the detection by comfort server manager is interrupted, but can you log in to comfigurator using the IP address. Tr to write and read from comfort. Does that work?
Hi Chiu,
Wife doing Ok, she is out of hospital now.
I can login using the Eth03 UCM 01 and change and download to Comfort
I can also login on my iPhone and set the Alarm, (the only issue I have is it sometimes drops the connection as explained above.
I am not sure if I mentioned the Eth03 is connected directly to the Comfort Main board and not on a UCM baseboard...not sure if that makes a difference.
Also My Serial  232 UCM used to have the ID 01 but had to change it to 02 when I put the Eth03 into the system. ( As the one mounted on the Mainboard has to be 01?
The DIP switches are set correctly on the RS232 UCM and it reports as 02 in configurator
Wondered if it was worth powering down and removing the ETH03 and trying again?
Regards
Joules
Hi Joules
The eth03 that is plugged in to your CM9001 does not have a UCM ID, as it is built in to the CM9001. In fact it it has an ID of 01, while the UCMs have IDs of 11Hex (UCM ID#1) to 18Hex (UCM ID#8). So your UCM/232 can have a UCM ID of 1 without any conflict if you wish. You can leave the UCM ID #1 empty as this will not cause an RS485  communications failure alarm.
The iOS app does sometimes lose connection, I am not sure if it is due to the issue here. I doubt that powering down the CM9001 would help as it seems to be a network connection issue.

The other possibility is a faulty ETH03 but I am not sure it that is the case. If this occaional disconnection can be tolerated I suggest to leave it. Perhaps you can consider the Home Assistnt app with Rasberry Pi which will give you a better app experience see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum143/
