- rosado.gaspar - 05-06-2012 When I was upgrading my ââ¬ËComfort IIââ¬â¢ firmware, using Comfigurator through UCM 06 unit, the process stopped at 10%. I tried to do it some more times but unsuccessfully. When I try to login on the Comfort II, I get the failure message ââ¬ËNo response from UCMââ¬â¢. Also, the two led on the main board, red (D1) and green (D2), are always off, even when standing alone without any peripherals, only with the power on, and also when I reset the board. Is there any way to force the firmware upgrade, or my Comfort II is dead???? - ident - 05-07-2012 I assume you were trying to upgrade Comfort by Bus. What was the error message? If there was an error with the Bus upgrade you should be able to retry the upgrade provided you do not switch off or reset the Comfort If you have reset, then you have to use the method of upgrading the Comfort firmware by the programming Cable as shown in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1216.html Please follow all the instructions carefully - rosado.gaspar - 05-07-2012 I was trying to upgrade Comfort by programming cable, not by bus. and I followed all the procedure in the manual. - hendy - 05-08-2012 What UCM you are using to upgrade the Comfort firmware? What LED indicators are on on the UCM board? If possible can you take a photo of your UCM connection with the Comfort board while doing the firmware upgrade? - rosado.gaspar - 05-08-2012 1. Iôm using UCM/Eth02 2. On UCM the two BUS led (green and red) are off. The green ready LED is ON and the 3 error red LED are OFF. The Red LED on Ethernet daugterboard is blinking. 3. I canôt do firmware upgrade because I Canôt connect to UCM board: \"When I try to login on the Comfort II, I get the failure message ââ¬ËNo response from UCMââ¬â¢.\" I believe the problem is in comfort RS485 BUS because I have red (D1) and green (D2)off on comfort. - hendy - 05-09-2012 You do not need to login to Comfort from UCM to upgrade the firmware. Furthermore, the Comfort will not be able to give any response as its firmware is incomplete / corrupted. Can you check in the DS manager software, the setting of the \"Inband commands\" for the UCM/Eth02? Make sure this setting is enabled. Un-plug and plug back the programming cable may sometimes help. |
