My system has come up with A zone trouble alert. I looked at the PIR it referenced as the problem and found a cctv cable had come undone and was hanging in front of the sensor. Ideal I thought, tidied away the cable, the sensor went from red light to clear. So I input my user code but the fault is still there. I have also used engineer code followed by 7,4,2. I ideally dont want to update the cclx as i\'m not 100% certain I have the latest, but will try if thats likely to resolve.

Blocking a PIR will not cause zone troubleThis is normally caused by a wiring or resistance problem. Reset will not help. If the zone does not have EOL resistors, remove the wires from the zone and use wirebto short abd ooen the zone. Check if zone trouble occurs or is cleared

I ended up removing the zone as it was not responding on a walk test (assume that means the sensor need replacing?) Uploaded revised CCLX - All ok now. I hope......

My box is installed in a ridiculously unaccessible location. No installer likes to work on it and fewer installers are available these days, those that are have become expensive, understandably for such a specialist bit of kit. I have tried to manage it myself but to do anything on the wiring is too delicate given the difficulty of reaching. Also shame that the RPi project lost momentum, the one thing I really wanted was Home Assistant alert notification if the alarm went off. Thanks anyway
