DSP/Voice Failure
#1
Hi there,

I have a comfort generation 1 board with 1 keypad and 1 door station.

Every now and then the keypad goes dead. i.e. pressing the buttons have no effect. I have to reset the system then all is ok. A snippet from the event log is below:

I suspect the door station. Any advice?

when the keypad goes dead next time can you check if you can access the menu from a local telephone or remote telephone? If you cannot  itcouold be due to the main Comfort board

HI there,

Yes I tried to access the comfort from the local phone and there was no dial tone. I also tried to phone in but got a busy signal. Reseting the comfort clears all these problems.

Another thing is that this whole sequence sometimes triggered when someone presses the door station.

I suggest that you start a default file for Comfort I , set the number of door stations and keypads, and the zones programming and transfer to Comfort. This is in case some programmming that was done may have caused this problem
Save your original file before doing this
Try this new configuration for a few days or long enough to determine if the problem still exists
