I have the MPU installed on a comfort II.
Over the MPU there is the LEM03 module installed.
Everytime i need to update the firmware, i need to pull out the LEM03 to access to the PP2 jumper on the MPU module. No problems to do this, but... can i leave the PP2 jumper forever shunted ?

I\'m interested in the reply to this from Chiu too as I\'m just about to be in this situation myself.
If shunt has to be removed (in normal operation) then I wonder if it\'s possible to put a blue 2-way terminal block (part # TBB02-20 on Cytech accessories url) between these 2 pins so that a couple of trailing wires could be used to move the shunt \"decision\" to a position in the enclosure where it\'s easier to open/short when the LEM03 is in situ.
Just a thought if there\'s clearance between LEM03 and the MPU01 for this? If I understand correctly the cable can be left connected at the MPU end as long as the UCM05 end is disconnected when not in programme mode?
Regards

The PP2 shunt can be left in place on the Comfort PCB without having an effect. You should not do this for other modules like Slaves and UCMs
The programming cable can be left in place on the MPU as long as the other ends are not connected
