Vocab download corupted
#1
I have a problem.
I was downloading the vocabulary after upgrading to 5.145. during the download the ethernet cable became disconnected and the download stopped. the keypad says no text data download aborted.
since then i have not been able to connect using comfigurator to download again. i have tried a ucm ethernet and a ucm05. on both ucm\'s d10 is on and d9 is off.
i have now tried to copy the NVM memory from the ucm05 to comfort. i started it and Rdy d3 and d10 are all on/flashing fast but it has been 10 minutes and nothing else has happened.
boards is ultra II and the ucm is on Firmware 5.174
Please Help!!

D10 (green) is on and D9 (red) off means that the UCM is not responding to any polls
It could be that the ID is incorrect

I suspect the number of UCMs is set to 0
Using the keypad (you may not hear any voice) so just enter the correct codes without making a mistake

Press F0 6789#
Press 7,4,1 for Locations
Enter 1672#
Enter 1#

Press Reset

This should let the D9 red led on the UCM#1 start flashing
Then try the download (write to Comfort) again

Will it still be the engineer code we have programmed?
What do I do with the UCM that is still connected trying to transfer the NVM? The id is certainly 1.

#4
Just reset the UCM and Comfort and see if it is back to normal
If both D9 and D10 are flashing then it is communicating again
If D9 does not flash the U4 DLOAD button will not work

Otherwise try the engineer code that you have used before

The above worked using our engineer code and have downloaded the from the UCM05. I am now downloading the Vocab again.
Thanks for the support.. excellent as usual!

If no programming cable is present how can I upgrade my vocabulary ?

I still get the Vocab upgrading encountered problems

#7
Vocab upgrading does not require a programming cable
Just go to Transfer > Vocab Upgrade and select the file (kate29.bin for english)
