Portuguese voice and files

Hello everybody!

Great news for Portuguese installers/users.

I have done a few files directed for Portuguese installers, mostly!

PART1

New BIN female voice file named Marta32.bin is available for download thru link below, while it is not available in CYTECH website.
Also misc necessary files for fully functional language are included.

1 - \"vocab.cfg\" file is to be copyed and pasted into COMFIGURATOR config folder (usually C:\\Programs\\Cytech\\Comfigurator 3\\config), replacing existant if asked.

2 - \"cs-wl-pt.cfg\" file is to be copyed and pasted into COMFIGURATOR config folder (usually C:\\Programs\\Cytech\\Comfigurator 3\\config), replacing existant if asked.

3 - \"sentence-port.cfg\" file is to be copyed and pasted into COMFIGURATOR config folder (usually C:\\Programs\\Cytech\\Comfigurator 3\\config), replacing existant if asked.

4 - Finally \"Marta32.bin\" is to be uploaded via Comfigurator to the Comfort controller.

PART2

1 - Created a \"cities.csv\" file containing more than 400 cities and locations for Portuguese territory, so that installers can use the SUNRISE/SUNSET function more acuratelly. It means that when you choose Country: Portugal in Comfigurator, you will have all major and most others cities to choose from, all with the correct coordinates.
File is to be copyed and pasted into COMFIGURATOR config folder (usually C:\\Programs\\Cytech\\Comfigurator 3\\config), replacing existant if asked.

2 - Created a new \"def34Portugal.cctx\" file, that has language setting already in Portuguese Residential, and includes all national holidays in the Schedule tab.

The files are all in the below link for now!
Please feel free to test, and give me feedback!
I may have missed something, that I will gladly change... if possible!

Hello again!

By mistake, in the def34Portugal.cctx  file, user 16 and 18 have \"sign in\" codes inserted.

They are \"5179\" and \"151298\" respectively.
Please change them at will.

I have followed Your instructions and got the next error message when starting the configurator:
Exception while reading vocab.cfg:
System.Exception: Error reading C:\\Programas\\Cytech\\Comfigurator 3\\Config\\vocab.cfg: Could not find file \'C:\\Programas\\Cytech\\Comfigurator 3\\Config\\Italres.cfg\'.
at Comfort.Vocab.AddWordLists(Configuration configuration, String filename, List`1 wordlists)
at Comfort.Vocab.GetWordLists(Configuration configuration)
Any idea to correct this?

Which version of Comfigurator are you using
You should upgrade to 3.18, see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum20/1785.html or even 3.19

If you still have problems copy the attached file to the Comfigurator 3\\config folder

Hello everybody!

New update on the Portuguese files.
Corrected Control menu to say status of device:
Was: \" device + e + ligada/desligada\"
Changed to: \" device + está + ligada/desligada\"

Word \"reabilitada\" that was used on display only, was redirected to \"OK\" as the faulty device recovers.
Ex.: \" Linha telefonica reabilitada\" changed to \"Linha telefonica OK\" when the phone line recovers from trouble.
That was made in order to \"free\" one word space, to be filled with \"está\" new word.

Also reseted the custom portuguese cctx file to the default \"1234\" and \"5678\" codes.

Please RE-DOWNLOAD and REPLACE prevoius version of ALL FILES.
Don´t forget to upgrade VOCAB on COMFIGURATOR.

Hi There
I updated the comfigurator to 3.1.8 and it started up fine.
When I tried to upload the marta32.bin file to the comfort it stoped at 71% and send the message could not update vocabulary or something like that.

When I tried to undo and load the english configuration file again the keypad was asking to load text file pressing by *1 but when I pressed *1 it send the message no text file to load. What can Y do to solve this?

There is another question, in order to the GSM respond to a call from a phone with the voice menu you only need to check the Hear announcements on the phone flag and the ignore line cut flag or there is more configurations to make?

The vocabulary upgrade sometimes fails to complete because it takes a long time > 20 minutes and there may be other interruptions on the computer
There will be no voice in the Comfort when the vocabulary upgrade is not done. The keypad is trying to synchronise its display with Comfort\'s voice but cannot do so as the voice is not there

Try the vocabulary upgrade again until it succeeds.
Then press *1 on the keypad

On the other question, \"Hear Announcement on Phone\" means that when you are talking on the phone, any announcement that the system makes wil be announced on the phone

\"Ignore Line Cut\" means that if there is no telephone line connected to Comfort, it wil not report a Phone Trouble alarm

They have nothing to do with the GSM

what I say is that when I call to comfort GSM number I shoud hear the menu options talking? if so that is not happening.
