Comfort I acting funny
#1
Hi

I\'ve lost my original install for this one customer and had to download the config from the comfort 1 ultra. I\'ve noticed some weird responses that was not in the original config that I did a couple years ago. I\'ve re-created the configuration from a fresh u24 template with the latest ver 3 comfigurator and uploaded that to the comfort I. After doing a download from the comfort I again, those funnies are still there.

How can I do a SYSTEM FACTORY DEFAULT on the config to then upload the newly created config? Will this erase all the funnies?

You can open a default Comfort I Ultra template in Comfigurator and transfer it over to the system.
This will overwrite the current config and restore it to the default config.

However, if the weird responses are present in your newly created config then when you upload it again, it will overwrite the default config and most probably the funnies are still there.

Can you send your newly created config and the one you downloaded from Comfort I which contains \'funnies\' to support@cytech.biz so we can compare and check?
Don\'t forget to list down the weird responses so it will help us identify the possible problem.

Hi

I\'ve done the template upload and re-did the whole configuration from scratch. It\'s now working 100% as it should.

I do get communication errors from 1:26am every night, do you know of any bugs that might cause such radical behavior?

I do have an old comfort I system with a remote slave unit and 3 keypads.

Regards

Perhaps the 1.26 AM timing corresponds with the Battery Test time which is by default every 24 hours, from the last time that it was done.\\ using F3,1

What is the exact message or mesages, which modules have communication failure?

Do a battery test (F3,1) in the day, and see if the Comms fail messages occur at this time or still at 1:26 am
