Hi,
Started programming some velbus light circuits tonight using comfigurator. Have everything working well, delighted with it in fact, but the programming is a bit cumbersome!
For example, when programming response to turn on a velbus channel, you have to manually enter the velbus module address and the chanel number! This makes it very awkward as you ahve to remember which module address and chanel is which light, and is sure to get complicated!!
When programming x10 modules for example, having given them a name in comfigurator, you can select the device by the comfigurator name you gave it! Would it be possible to add this feature for velbus in comfigurator also ?
You would have to be able to define a name for the specific velbus channel in comfigurator, which you can not do currently, so this would have to be added.
Velbus devices can be programmed up with names using velbuslink software, but preferrably not use this in comfigurator, rather a comfort specific name.
Any thoughts ?
Regards,
Eamon
