[font=\"trebuchet ms\"][color=\"#aa0000\"]Hi, I am an end user. I have someone to install the Home Automation System in my home. For the last one year, it has not been running well or rather we only use the very basic feature of the system.
Lately I noticed that the door intercom no no longer dial my house phone when pressed. so what could be the reason? can I configure this from the key pad?
then secondly, I have requested for the door station to be able to call my hand phone when no one pick up the house phone within 6 rings for example. My installer said this cannot be done. I would like to have a second opinion on this.

When the doorbell is pressed in Security Off or Night mode, it should ring the house phones and when armed to away mode it dials the programmed phones.
It cannot ring house phones for 6 rings and then call the mobile phone so your installer is correct
When you press the doorbell, do you hear the chime on the door station and keypad?
Is the door station a DP03 and is it sheltered? This is not weatherproof so it should not be completely exposed otherwise water may damage the parts

Yes I believe the door station is covered. I am not 100% sure. Yes, when the doorbell is pressed, I hear the chime at the keypad.
How do I check if the house is on away mode?

The house phones may not ring if you have too many phones connected
Try disconnecting all except one and see if it rings when you press the doorbell
The house is armed to away mode when you press the Away button (top right on the keypad) and leave the house

To expand on idents comment - If you are based in the UK, there is a limit to the total REN number a household can have, this is usually around 5. The REN number of each phone is usually listed on the underside of the phone itself.
If this is affecting Comforts operation, then it will also be affecting the ability of an outside caller to call the property (the phone will not ring also)
Have there been any changes to the internal phone wiring? Comfort needs to intercept the phone line before any extensions are wired in!
Failing the above, it maybe as simple as a config issue - You say that in was installed by someone else, so you may need then to access the config and take a look, or check out the tutorials on this site and DIY - I am sure ident will be willing to take a look at it for you...
Hope this helps...

Where are you located?
When was the installation carried out (i.e. is it a comfort 1 or 2?).
