Getting Temperatures in to Comfort

As part of a boiler control project I want to measure the temperature of water in a hot water cylinder. I could use 1 wire type temp sensors and then interface the controller to Comfort, but I want to keep the solution as simple and therefore as reliable as possible.

Therefore, what analogue temperature sensors would be recommended to used with comfort that can measure say from 0C to 100C and present that back as a voltage?

Just for interest, I use the Dallas 1-Wire sensors going into a Clipsal Temperature controller and then have Clipsal connect to Comfort via the UCM/Cbus2. From there I map a Sensor to a Measurement App on Cbus and every time Cbus broadcasts a change it\'s propagated to Comfort.

I used the DS digital sensor as analogue sensors usually need calibration and Clipsal had a pre-existing little controller fom them anyway.

I\'ve got a Fibraro ZWave Universal module and bought a load of prewired Sensors from ebay but no chance to put it all together yet.

I guess the answer depends on what type of UCM interface you have or want to get to interface.

Thanks for the replies. Do I take it then that this is not something that is easily achieved without using another layer of interfaces? It seems to me that that given that comfort has analogue inputs that it can read and return a value from 0-255, has anyone found an analogue temp sensor and maybe some sort of resistor value to allow the useful temperature range to be mapped on to those values (0-100 deg C)?. I do have some 1 wire devices that I was playing with, but I am really trying to avoid additional points of failure.

The Comfort and SEM Inputs (but not LEMs)  can accept analog inputs in the range 0 to 3 Volts
The zones should be assigned to Null zone types
Use get analog Input action to read the analog value 0 to 255 crresponding to 0 to 3V

But we have not looked for a suitable temp sensor in that range

we have a TCS01 module which is a PCB module without housing which has a built in temp sensor and works like a SCS to send temperature to Comfort sensors. The TCS01 is really a SCS withut the switches

I use one of those for outdoor temperature sensing and it works well.  Just through it in a waterproof plastic enclosure.

I posted a screenshot of this somewhere in the past as I also linked to a rain sensor too.
