Hi all.
I\'d been scratching my head for quite a while today trying to figure out why my keypads were displaying the wrong time (an hour too late). I would set the time from Comfigurator, it would \"stick\" for a while, but a short while later it would annoyingly be an hour fast again. I thought it was related to the DST change that just happened, although actually, I think perhaps it was always like it and I only just now noticed because I went to check specifically that the DST change had occurred in Comfort...
I\'d had time problems with Comfort before, and that time it was because of an interaction with CBUS... and I *do* have a CBUS2 UCM configured, and it *was* enabled to work with the CBUS clocks/timekeeping application, so I thought that may have been it (it wasn\'t) - I thought I remembered from the manual that when this is enabled on the CBUS2 UCM that comfort became the time master on the CBUS and therefore should NOT have its time changed from another CBUS unit...
So after exhausting the CBUS possibilities I then remembered that the ETH03 UCM could also sync time from an internet time server... so that really *must* be it... looking at the config for the NTP setting shows the dialog which hopefully is attached to this post...
My attention was immediately drawn to the GMT time offset and the intriguing \"Read Out\" settings.... the former is correct, I AM in a GMT+1 timezone, and the local time shown on the top of the dialog is correct... but look at the \"Read Out\" value... there\'s no tooltip help for this item, so I have to surmise its purpose and effect... but clearly my keypads ARE showing 2 hours later than GMT instead of 1 hour... so I can only surmise that this setting on the ETH03 is making that happen...
What I can\'t understand is why would that option need to exist? why is it there? and most importantly why are both of those options read-only in the dialog?? I cannot edit/change them in any way... the only item I can change is the choice of NTP server in the drop-down...
Until I can figure this out, I have had to uncheck the option to send the time to Comfort, which is a real shame...
