Hi,I saw an old post that said a UCM/Universal (with ethernet module) or UCM/ETH03 (which the one I have) can send TCP messages using the RS232 SEND comment. I can\'t seem to find any guides on how to do this?
Can anyone point me in the right direction to a guide or give me a few examples of how to send a packet to a particular IP address and port?

use Send Rs232 command in a Response as shown below to send any text message throuigh the ETH03 port of UCM/ETH03
If you have UCM/ETH03 it can act only as a Server ie the other device must be a Client which communicates with the UCM/ETH03 via its IP address
Universal UCM with ETH03 can be configured as Client or Server by CS Manager. This means that if it is Clientm, the other device can be server, so UCM/Universal can addres it by the servers IP address and send the commands to it that way
Ok, thanks. I\'ll have to think about that a little more then and see if I can make that work for my scenario.
I guess in the worst case I could have a proxy \'client\' (e.g. Raspberry Pi) with a permanent TCP socket connection to the Comfort \'server\' (UCM/Eth) and the client just sits there waiting to hear anything from Comfort and then based on whatever simple TCP message comfort sends it (in response) then it can iniate a more complex network action like an HTTP request, twitter post, etc - e.g. SEND RS232 UCM01 \'A\' = would mean initiate complex action 1, \'B\' would be for action 2, etc.
