Hi All.
Has anyone tried to power a RGBW strip from an output directly?
Looking at the web one site seems to suggest the there is a draw of 60mA per meter per colour.
Alternative solution would be 4 relays and an external psi.

If the LEDs are 12 volts and ypu can connect the 12V in common with the anodes and the outputs to the cathode, this should work
But never tried

Do not do it the power drain is to great, you have to know the lenght of the light strip and do the calculation, But I do know Comfort cannot support more than a meter, seriously would not recomend that you do this. Depending on the length get a CCTV cabinet with minimum 1.5A per channell which can be doubled up if required.........
Update:
On the whole RGB (not rgbw)consume aproximatly 1amp per meter and if I remember rightly Comfort transformer is only capable of 450m amps which is less than half an amp so you will be looking at problems taking power source from there!
