Replaced PIR, not recognised

Coomunications Failure 49 refers to the door sttaion. I believe the KA KB or 12V wires are shorted.

The door station has not been disturbed since 2018 (I think). I will undo it and have a look.

Ooh! I have just disassembled the door station and found no likely faults. What else can I do?

The door station is not faulty. It is the KA KB or the 12V supply to the keypads and door sttaions that are shorted or cut and are causing the communications faulres. Please check the 4 wires KA KB 12V COM from Comfort tto the keypads and door stations.
Iif the Keypad LCD is working, then 12V is supplied to it. Check the KA/KB.

can you log in on the keypad or press the doorbell and get the ring tone?

On my C9000 board the KA and KB terminals are empty, no connection to anything. There is a 12V output directly below KA is the the 12V supply? All wiring looks OK. I have not touched anything on the board other than the jumper for the EOL resistor.

However, I now seem to have resolved all issues.  I disconnected the battery and turned off power to the system.  It then re-started up properly with power to keypads and door bells.  I then connected the new PIR. I have down a walk-around test, rung the bell, rung the system on the phone and checked configurator.  All now appears OK. I may have shorted some of the PIR wires when getting them though the bracket from the ceiling, this may have caused the issue. Thank you for your assistance
