I have the UCM/PI, all works well but now thinking if the Comfort talks via MQTT then its one less component to go wrong

I think the main advantage of the UCM/Pi is the Node-RED support, and once you get it setup, it seems to be very reliable. Also, it allows you to create virtual alarm zones using sensors in HA. However, if you just need to connect to Home Assistant, then the Comfort2MQTT works fine.
I've recently renovated my house and installed KNX as part of the upgrade. When I tried to link the UCM/Pi with KNX using the node-red-contrib-knx-ultimate integration, I found that my Node-RED version was too old to support it. This led me down the rabbit hole of forking the ucmpi_os repo and overhauling it to support Raspbian 12 64 bit and Node-Red v4.1.0. This is now working great, so I may post a link to it once I've finished testing - although I'm not sure if there are any other UCM/Pi users left!
