I believe you are running the HA Core version and not the full Supervised version. The Addon has not been tested or developed for the Core version. It might be in the future but not currently.

Yes, I am running HA OS on a Raspberry Pi (the image that is supplied through Raspberry Pi imager). Apparently it’s now the most common platform for Home Assistant.

I am planning to move to HA Yellow once the CM5 module I am after comes back into stock in the UK.

Would be really keen to know when the addon might be supported for the ‘HA OS on bare metal’ option - I am moving away from HomeSeer in a virtualised environment and aiming for a setup where someone else worries about the OS updates etc. I ended up writing my own HomeSeer plugin for Comfort and really don’t want to do it again for HA!

If there’s anything I can do to help with development or testing I would be glad to help - please let me know!

Thanks,

Jon.

The Add-on works for Home assistant OS (installed by RPI Imager). The only issue I have found so far is that I have not been able to see the effect of the CCLX file. I cannot see where that makes a dfference.

But why would you want to have it working for a bare metal version compared to HAOS?

It’s not bare metal or HAOS.

It’s HAOS running directly on Raspberry Pi or other hardware (bare metal) vs HAOS running in a Docker container under some other OS (Debian/Ubuntu etc).

HA yellow is HAOS running directly on hardware and the version I am currently running is HAOS running directly on Raspberry Pi 4, both are ‘HAOS on bare metal’.

I’d just like to be able to run a supported, fully featured addon as I make heavy use of Comfort to provide per-room occupancy and it would be a shame to do all the work to move to HS and then to find some breaking change in the addon with a later version that wasn’t supported for my environment.

Please try 1.4.3. I found an extraneous \" character in the file path.

with 1.4.3 addon version, the zone name is displayed in the alarm message , in this case when the zone is open during arming. before it would only be the zone number

Thanks this fixes the \"file not found\" error on startup.
