Trouble connecting

I have just powered up a CBUS to KNX translator
I have both CBUS and KNX connected

I am unable to connect using the USB cable.

In settings there is no pull down menu to indicate a USB found and in the serial no line its just 'blued out' I cannot type anything.

If I go transfer system information then I get a small window appear
"error opening USB port:  FT_INVALD_HANDLE

If I remove the cable then it says: FT_DEVICE NOT FOUND

I have just gone into device manager and can see an active USB Comport4 (only one present and it disappears when cable removed).

 - Says device is working properly
 - Set at 9600 bits per second
 - Parity : none
 - Stop bits: 1
 - Flow control: none

Under events this must have happened in the background ! : "Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service FTSER2K for Device Instance ID FTDIBUS\VID_0403+PID_6001+AH00SBLYA\0000 with the following status: 0."

I have just tried changing the SB cable
I have also tried changing the USB daughter board

No change to the end result

It was to do with screen resolution !
The pull down menu to the side did not appear !

Have now connected BUT get the following exceptions :

we have not seen that

try changing the conection to serial port and select the com port

In the software would it be possible to add another column for a descriptor please ?

When you have a long list of numbers difficult to cross refence with three items of software on the go at once !
