The UCM/USB which is a USB Interface for Comfort is now available, see the product on our Products Page
The cost is the same as a UCM05.

The new Comfigurator 3 has supports the USB  Interface. The options for interface in Comfigurator now include Serial (UCM05), Ethernet (UCM/Ethernet) and USB (UCM/USB). When USB is selected, Comfigurator will look for the serial number of the USB and offer it in a drop down list.

This makes it convenient for programming Comfort as most computers come with Rs232 ports nowadays. Serial to Ethernet converts are also very common but sometimes these select different virtual COM ports when they are plugged in on different ports on the computer causing some inconvenience.

For those who already have a UCM05, the USB01 Plug in board is also available. It plugs on top of a UCM05 to provide a USB interface when the J2 Header is switched to the 485 position. This allows either Rs232 or USB to be selected

Note that the new UCM/USB part number does not include a RS232 interface

The USB01 daughterboard for UCM05 is shown. This is also sold, allowing an existing UCM05 to make use of the USB interface by selecting the J2 header to the "485" position
