UCM does not works...
#21
Yes, i did some photos, if you want, i will send them to you.

Today early in the morning, i went to take an old laptop from a friend of mine in order to try conecting it to cp9000.
This old Pc, has a serial port. My Pc has an usb to serial port adapter.
Well, i have downloaded on the old laptop Comfigurator 2.2.3. I have set SW8 jumper CLOSE and i have set option>Handshake>None.
Filesystem 34, and download began!!

But i think there are many bugs in 2.2.3..... The first i have seen, is the \'user login\'... it seems to be 1234 even if i have configured another password in comfigurator.

At the moment, i am trying to test the system......

How many UCMs and Keypads do you have connected?

If you are able to connect to Comfort using another PC then  there is nothing wrong with the UCM or Comfort
There may be a problem with the USB to serial converter hardware or driver or you have not selected the COM port used by the driver

On the old PC, why dont you use Comfigurator 3, instead of the old 2.2.3?

Yes, fortunately UCM and Comfort seems to be ok and the problem is surely about Pc, Port adapter or something other.

I am very happy about!

Because on the Pc, the Operative System is Windows 98ME and it seems not to support Comfigurator3.

I suggest that you get a new USB to serial converter and run Comfigurator 3 on your newer PC

Also note that we have a UCM/USB which has a direct USB connection
