Distance between GSM module and main unit

Is it possible to install UCM/GSM further away from the main panel , say 10m (over UTP cable or any other suitable cable) so as to have better GSM signal? the main panel is at a location where no GSM handset has ever managed to make a call.
Can I cut the specialty J54 voice connector, and I drive it via coaxial cable?

Yes you can use 2  ADM02 modules with CAT 5 cables between Comfort and UCM/GSM as shown in this topic http://www.comfortforums.com/forum48/1615.html
