Whats New in Comfort App v 1.42

Minimum firmware

1. UCM/Ethernet 6.002 or above
2. Comfort firrmware 6.004 or above
   

Audible feedback when any key is pressed was the most requested feature, and has been implemented in the new version, with quite a distinct sound.

Notification when the login code is wrong;

Arming can be Local, or Remote ie Comfort knows if you need to EXIT when arming to Away mode, depending on whether you are local or remote. If you are LOCAL ie connected by LAN, then you need to EXIT from the Entry door in order to complete the Arm to Away Mode. If you are connected by Internet, ie REMOTE, you do not need to EXIT to arm to Away Mode.
Arming remotely (ie connected by INTERNET) will require another login for security purposes.

The Comfort APP will automatically log out when manually disconnected or when the app goes into the background, ie log out of Comfort before disconnecting.

Multiple IP access has been ruled out due to security issues as discussed in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum66/2141.html

Please note that Comfort firmware 6.004 or above is required for the app to work fully. Firmware 6.004 is not released yet but is expected in a few days

If Comfort firmware 5.215, which is the older version is used, the only difference will be the following

• When arming to AWAY mode when connection is by Internet ie Remote Away Arming, and there are open zones all open zones will be automatically bypassed and the system is armed without any exit delay. With Comfort firmware 6.004, for Remote away arming, if there are any open zones, they will be displayed in the keypad page, and the user must press # to force arm the system, then the system is armed without needing to exit This is a better and more secure operation compared to the older firmware

Whats New in summary;

1. Audible tone when buttons are pressed
   
2. Shows exit delay countdown timer when arming
3. shows entry delay countdown when armed and front door is open
4. When arming to away remotely, ie connect by Internet, do not need to open and close the front door. There is also no exitdelay when arming remotely.
   
5. Arming from remote needs an addtional sign in for security
   
6. shows open zones when arming, like the LCD keypad
7. Shows current alarm on the keypad eg Intruder, Panic, Fire, Communications Failure
   
8. Shows the away , Night,  or Day buttons in reverse flashing when armed to that mode
9. shows up to 4 IP cameras for local and remote IP access
   
10. New Trouble page shows AC failure, Low battery, zone trouble, communications failure,  phone trouble
    
11. shows connection status  - Connecting, connected, disconnected and Data error
12. Improved set up page
13. Last system is retained when coming back to the app so no need to select the Comfort system again eg Home, Office

* address entry in setup (port now dismisses keyboard)

Please upgrade to 1.42 of the app which fixes the crash on the Home Control Page
