I have recently upgraded to Ultra II, and have set most of the system up with no problems, as mentioned in another post have started from stratch again using a new Configurator file instead of converting my original.

For some reason I cannot dial in using the local phone, i.e *usercode #, remotely it is fine. Also the phones do not ring when the doorbell is pressed.

Have checked all the settings in Configurator and they seem OK. Any pointers on likely causes?  Have been stratching my head for over a week now!!

Telecomms wiring has not changed, although I didn\'t have a ringer module with my Comfort I system.

When you press the * key on the local phone, do you hear a relay click on the Comfort PCB?
Try reversing the telephone wires on TEL OUT

What Ringer do you have, RGR04 or RGR05. The connections for these two are different so please make sure you downalod the correct manual

Hi

Have tried reversing the wires on the Tel out, still no joy. Cannot hear the relay when * is pressed on phone. 

I can hear the relay clicking when the doorbell is pressed but phones not ringing.

 

I have Ringer module RG04, the only connections are those on the header on the back where it connects to the comfort main board aren\'t they, so cannot see that those are wrong?

Can you read the serial numbers on the Comfort PCB and the RGR04?
There are 2 serial numbers on the Comfort, oneon the left and the right
Please send them so we can check the details
