I understand the DNS bit.
Just to understand more about this problem, I wasnt talking about the cameras, I was talking about the main comfort IP address for internet access.
As I said, for the app I use the hostname without the http:// prefix, its a simple hostname like xxxxx.eu
I connect no problem from the internet to comfort every time.

I use dyndns with hostname xxxx.ath.cx and it won\'t connect
Checked router logs and there is nothing when using the hostname

Just tried to connect using a remote wifi connection and using hostname is working fine. So the problem i have is using a cellular connection and hostname.

What do you mean?
If you are using wifi to connect remotely the hostname works in the Internet field. But if you are connected by 3G and not wifi then you cannot connect?

iPhone app appeared in the app store as requiring an update today, and I updated it! Now it\'s shutting down when I go ibot hone control menu ( second level down)
Anyone else seeing this ?

Yes I see the same problem
The change in the update was only in the setup fields
We will get this fixed and load a new upgrade
Please do not upgrade to 1.41 !!

Just updated the app on my iPhone and now hostname is working on 3G.
