How does the negative number Sensor values work?
Can it be set by a DA command, s! or both? How does s? report a negative number?
Can we have an example please?
Thanks,
Ingo

The firmware is available by the Check Update mechanism.

The sensor values are now in 2 bytes in twos complement
eg
0x0001 means +1
0xFFFF means -1
0x8000 means -32768
The old format was 1 byte 00 to FF, it is now reported as two bytes to maintain compatibillty
so sensor value of 0xFF is reported as 0x00FF
The 1 byte values are positive only
This caters for sensors which may report negative values
There will be Actions to support comparison of sensors in future, the arithmetic for addition and subtraction will be signed

Comfort firmware 7.009 has a bug which may cause false Communications Failure alarms occasionally when the bus has noise
A new release will fix this problem. If anyone has this problem please downgrade to 6.028 for the time being

Hi
Presumably if you are suggesting rollback to 6.x firmware then this is an issue with all 7.x ULT firmware then.
Are UCM v7\'s immune to this noise then?

UCM v 7 is not affected
Only Comfort firmware. if your system does not have communications failure then you do not need to roll back
