HELP, Connecting Cytech with CBus Dimmer

i\'m newbie here, so pardon me if my question is too basic or too easy to be answer.

ok.
let\'s start.
what i have:

CBUS Item
1. 2 Units of CBus Dimmer type L5504D2A with powersupply.
2. 1 Unit of CBus USB PC Interface.

now the problem is:
How to connect (Wiring this item to my Cytech \"UCM CBUS\" so that i could use the dimmer together with Cytech?

It says that connect the UCM CBUS to CBus, \"Connected to C-BUS via bus cable (2 wires)\".
but i don\'t understand, 2 wires to what CBUS?

i also attach the image of the item that i have to help about the image of the item i mean.

The 2 wires are referring to the bus wires of Cbus.
In the Cbus dimmer module that you have they will be located at \"C-bus CONNECTIONS\" port.
Notice that this is using RJ45 connector. RJ45 cable will have 8 wires inside.
You will need to strip the other end of the cable and take out the 2 wires at the middle (these are the 2 wires referred above) to be connected to UCM/Cbus.
There will be polarity on these 2 wires.
If it is correct wires and polarity then the 2 red LEDs on UCM/Cbus daughterboard will light up when connected; otherwise try to reverse them.

Hello, i have managed to connect Cytech UCM/Cbus with my CBus Dimmer module.

but i have tried to turn on the dimmer throught my cytech program, it won\'t work.

i have 2 dimmer module.
the wiring and connecting to UCM/CBus as the image i attached.

i have set
Dimmer Module 1, Address 1.
Channel 1--> Group 2
Channel 2--> Group 3
Channel 3--> Group 4
Channel 4--> Group 5

Dimmer Module 2, Address 2.
Channel 1--> Group 6
Channel 2--> Group 7
Channel 3--> Group 8
Channel 4--> Group 9

and after that,
i got my comfort comfigurator.
and set the respons:
Cbus On Cbus 2.
so i could turn on the lamp at Dimmer Module 1, channel 1.

but that\'s won\'t work.
could someone help me out?

Are you able to do the same (Control your GA)  from CBUS side using Toolkit (via your PC Interface)?

There were several problems with the cclx file that you sent

1. The UCM/Cbus ID is 4, there is no UCM with ID=3 and presumably the number of UCMs in Comfort is less than 4, so the UCM/Cbus was not polled
2. The Cbus application in the Cbus commands sent to Cbus were changed from Lighting (56) to other unused applications
3. The commands only turn on the lighting, and none to turn off the lighting so after the above problems are fixed, there may be no responses to turn off the lights

Yes, i could do the same as control my GA ffrom my CBUS Toolkit via PC Interface.
But now the problems is fixed.
i change the ID of the UCM so there will be no gaps, and restart it, it work
