I am using 3 SEM complete with 4 LEM, i plan use sensors and devices third party connected to the output about more than 20 : microwave sensor, selenoid valve, relays, IR Fence beams..
1. Its possible to power all devices connected to comfort that need external power by powering them from 12V / S12V port , isnt it ?
2. I read about this port only powering maximum 1 amp for all devices connected to controller or SEM ..This is limitation for one SEM or for all devices connected ?

If alarm sensors are to be powered by external 12V, these should also be battery backed up
Comfort will report power failure and low battery on its own power as well as its slaves, which is more convenient

Had a system crash green lights on sem and main board none of the components are lit up at all RPI GSM Ethernet. it looks as though no power is going to them at all as is the SCS swiches & RIO01
Cant figure out why it wont supply power tried addint independent power on ethernet powered up for a few seconds and shuts down
Any ideas

How about the leds on the main comfort? Can you check the 12V output from the 12V and COM from Comfort?

There may be overcurrent or short circuit on the 12V output supplying slaves and keypads etc This causes the voltagfe to go to the low level you measured. Remove all dvices eg UCM, Keypads etc that use 12V from Comfort, then check if the 12V recovers. You may have to wait a few minutes as the resettable fuses must cool down before the voltafg can recover
