No dial-out on SEP power failure?

I\'ve had my Comfort Ultra II system (plus GSM4-3G UCM) installed for a few months now and all is generally fine. We have quite regular power cuts in our area and I\'ve noticed that the \"Power Fail Main\" SMS text message never seems to arrive until some time later, often when the \'Restore\' happened as the power cuts are usually short. I finally did some experimenting today and concluded that it was because my \'Voice\' phone was first in the list and the SMS one was 2nd so it presumably didn\'t send the SMS until after the phone had been answered and acknowledged. So, I\'ve re-ordered the numbers.

Anyway... back to the query, my Comfort and SEP are in different areas and when I was testing later on I decided to cut the power to the SEP as it was closer by.  I waited some time but was surprised to hear no Trouble beeps from the system and get no dial-outs or SMS and nothing on the keypads. Is that normal?  It now works as expected (Trouble beeps, SMS and voice dial-out) if I just cut power to the main Comfort panel.

When comfort dials to a voice phone, and there is no answer it will dial to the next numbers in the list before going back to the one that did not answer. So this would cause about 1 minute delay
But you should always put the sms phone types ahead of voice phones, because sms get sent much faster

Slaves do not report AC failture This is deliberate because it if there is a power outage in the house it would cause multiple dialouts especially if dialing to a Central Monitoring system

Ok, I assumed that may be the case re. slaves but there seems to be no way of being notified of a slave-only power failure - I was surprised there was not even a warning message on the keypad display.

I realise it would be in the event log but that requires proactive checking.

Am I missing something obvious here?

No there has never been an option to alarm for slave power failure for historical reasons.

But a Low battery on the slave would cause alarm so you would still be alerted after a few hours
