ETH03 Universal Firmware

The ETH03 can be installed with 2 types of Firmware - General or Universal
The general firmware is used in Server mode, ie when used with Comfigurator
The Universal firmware is used when the ETH03 is in Client Mode, where a server IP address and port can be specified
The ETH03 firmware can be freely changed between General and Universal. see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum113/3820.html for instructions





The ETH03 Universal Firmware is used for Univeral UCM and UCM/Modbus

Can you enlighten us as to the advantages and disadvantages please
What will be the default when ordered?

The general ETH03 is for normal use ie Comfigurator. The ETH03 acts as a server and comfigurator as a client

The Universal ETH03 is for Universal UCM and UCMModbus with ethernet where you need the ethernet to be a client which connects to a sevre IP address and port


Default is General but you can upgrade to a different firmware
