New system after upgrades reports unable to check most recent version
#1
After 20 years of use of my old Comfort I, I am at last starting to setup things to replace it with Comfort II Ultra.I started by assembling a basic configuration with UCM/Eth03, LEM03, 3xKP04 (only connected one). Coonected just an external Wireless system (of which I will talk about later) with only the Front door sensor configured.Installed Configurator 3 on PC and did some basic acquaintance tests and everything looked as expected. Two days after (today) I went on and, as advised, I went after the upgrading to the most recent firmware for all the components.Everything went on smoothly without any glitch or surprise.
From the back of my head I think these were the versions updated:
  • UCM from 7.117 to 7.136
  • KP04 from 7.005 to 7.014
  • Comfort from ? to 7.160
  • And Eth03 to 2.23
Previous to upgrade, Configurator was showing latest version, and so I knew there were upgrades available. After the upgrade Configurator reports \"Unknown\" on that field for Comfort, UCM and KP04.
If I insist and ask to Check for upgrades, a message is displayed \"Unable to obtain update information\".
Is this a known problem? And is it really a comm/check problem or a wrong message?

There should not be such a problem. If the latest firmware  version is Unknown and you are bot able to update from the server it may be that your PC is having a connection problem to the server
It may be temporary priblem where you cannot access the server. Try rebooting the PC and try again
