Upgrading Ultra II to install ETH03 and integrate with HA

It been some years since I upgraded my Ultra II and I purchased ETH03 in order to integrate with HA

Comfort II Ultra
Version 7.192
File system 34
UCM Type 10 - new
version 8.007 - new

HA is recomending UCM version >7.2xx

Latest available v7 7.215 v8 8.030

Is version 8.xxx requiring new HW? Is 7.215 latest then?

Always use the latest as it has additional fixes since 7.215 was tested against the HA integration. 8.030 has no known issues with HA.

Always use the latest as it has additional fixes since 7.215 was tested against the HA integration. 8.030 has no known issues with HA.

Just to be sure because I did not followed latest HW versions and got some contradicting sugestions on AI

Is it OK to use 8.x FW for my Ultra II hardware?

The older non-ARM Comfort firmware has the latest firmware versions 8.xxx. So you can upgrade to version 8


The firmware will not allow you to upgrade firmware to the wrong type

Firmware fdor nona0rm comfort is named ULT 8.xxx, OPT 8.xxx
Arm Firmware3 wil be called ULTA 8.xxx, OPTA 8.xxx
