Comfort 2- Answerphone light doesnt illuminate with messages

Hi

Was this ever solved i have pretty much exactly the same problem.

the led doesn\'t come on from a ansaphone message but does from a local message. The # key doesn\'t announce the message but if you sign in you get the messages!

Any answers?

The problem with Message led not coming on was fixed in a firmware release. The cause of this was in the UK, after the caller hangs up, there is a continuous tone, like a dial tone on the line. This caused Comfort not to turn on the message led even though the messge is recorded. This was explained elsewhere in these forums.
What firmware do you have now?

Firmware is 5.079. is it flashable with a UCM05?

5.079 is not flashable. The good news is that any firmware upgrade from now on will be flashable. This problem was reported in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum36/768.html
