Hello,
I\'m trying to setup a CMS dialout and ContactID \"system/account code\" field in Comfigurator doesn\'t accept hex digits, only decimals. What\'s wrong? AFAIK, ContactID uses 0-9 and B-F for accounts, do I need to use some escape character or sth?
The system only accepts decimal digits in the account code field. The standard Contact ID specifies decimal digits only. I believe it is a recent enhancement for some receivers to accept hexadecimal digits
We will allow hexadecimal digits for account code in fuuture but it will require a firmware upgrade
Please arrange with the CMS station to alocate a decimal account code for now
I attach a PDF I found on the Internet regarding the ContactID standard and account code using hex. It seems they use extra DTMF frequency combinations for digits B to F. On page 6 there is a table for these frequencies.
To update, Comfigurator from 3.3.1 allows hexadecimal numbers for account codes to be entered in the CMS account code field for Contact ID
Please upgrade to the latest Comfigurator version
