Volume incorrect when disarming

I set to 0, and reset Comfort. No change.

Here is my solution. I set everything to default so that keypad voice and announcements are exactly the same volume. I then scratched around in my parts bin and found a small potentiometer and put that into the speaker line and voila, now I can set the volume to what sounds good to me.

The reason I decided to do this is that I rarely change the volume of my keypads after they have been in use for a while, I sortoff get a \'sweetspot\' of volume level and then I never change it. In this case if I ever wanted to change it then I just remove the bezel, change it and be done with it.

Simple yet effective.

There cannot be no change in volume between 20 and 0, otherwise there is something wrong
Ttry changing the Keypad volume to 20 and see if it becomes louder
The volume affects all keypads remember

There is a better solution for disabling the announcements on KT03

Each keypad including the KT03 can disable announcements on its own speaker using the Program Menu 3,1 for Voice report. Press 1 for On to enablel announcements, 0 for Off to disable announcements. Each keypad has its own disable/enable announcement setting which must be programmed at the individual keypad itself

This does not affect the voice menu volume when you sigjn in on the keypad

The limitation with this method is that when the keypad is reset, the setting becomes enabled again

A better way is to use the action in Response Wizard under the Keypad category
\"Keypad N Broadcast Disable\" where N is keypad ID 1 to 8

Create a Response and assign it to the Startup Response so it comes into effect when Comfort is Reset

In future this willl be made into a setting on KT03 setup screen to make it simpler to configure

Amendment to the above post already made
The Disable Keypad Announcements Response can be assigned to the Startup Response so that the KT03 or any keypad can have its Announcements disabled at reset
