We are coming out with the UCM heatmiser soon
If you run Comfigurator 3.7.5 the heatmiser configurator will give you the idea
Here is how it basically works
The Learn Heatmiser button will detect the Heatmiser modules and properties
You can then assign Comfort Sensors to Temperatures, Flags to on/off settings and comfort Counters to setpoints
Changing the values of the mapped counters wll change the setpoint on Heatmiser
Yeah this has confused me too as on the Heatmiser wiring/connection diagrams there is no mention of an RS485 connection point.
Also from the confusing conversations I had with Heatmiser technical support I believe that you cant have WIFI and RS485 in the same solution; I wanted to connect RS485 to Comfort but still have WIFI between thermostat and UH1-W/RC1-W. Apparently that\'s not possible?
It seems I\'ll probably just go for the Eth3 version then as simpler to get my mind around.
See the back of a Heatmiser Module below
The Yellow and Blue wires are the RS485 signals. Yellow is A, Blue is B to be connected to UCM/Heatmiser(485)
These are probably connected to UH1 for all the Heatmisers
I dont see any reason why you cannot have RS485 and wifi if there are separate systems, not the same network and you have 2 UCM/Heatmisers
Getting there but the yellow and blue wires; what are they connected too as they don\'t seem to be going to the provided terminals. Are they already connected to the device as shipped then as they look to disappear around the side of the terminals into the case and presumably PCB.
I think what I was trying to say badly before then is that while the UH1 has Y&B connections the UH1-W doesn\'t seem to so to have a WIFI thermostat that you can access via a mobile using Heatmisers android app means you must have the Eth3 version too. No hybrid solutions.
