My building inspector has said I can use a comfort panel for linked smoke and heat detectors if it meets the BS standard (BS 5839-6).
I can\'t find any info about the Comfort conforming to BS 5839-6, can anyone confirm if it does (or the European equivelent if there is one!).
Thanks.

Comfort is not primarily a fire alarm system and we do not have BS standard and do not know what are the requiremnents, so it is best to assume that Comfort does not conform to it, unless someone can confirm otherwise.

This is the full description for the British standard:
BS 5839-6:2013 Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildingsCode of practice for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems in domestic premises
Is there a European equivalent to this British Standard?

Fire alarms for buildings are normally specialised products just for that purpose, and have different requirements which is not suitable for Intruder alarms like Comfort which can be programmed to control automation including lights and other functions.
