Help to identify part-number

Hello,

I would appreciate any help on identifying the following component, and if possible where I can get a replacement.
It seems to me it receives all my 3 flood sensors, and then connects to the UCM.
My system started suddenly warning about flood alarm. Even when disconnecting all three sensors (I though one might be malfunctioning) , UCM still detects the sensor as ACTIVE.
Could this part be malfunctioning ?
I had to remove one of the power pins to silence the sensor....

That is not one of Cytech\'s products
I do not know how it works with the UCM to send the flood alarm

Looking at my sensors, it seems they are only used as open/closed circuits.They are all connected to this piece (pin 1 and 2), which then connects to UCM.
I\'m attaching photos...
Can anyone help me ?

The photo on the left is not a UCM
It is a Comfort or Slave
The sensor is connected to Zone 2 of the comfort/slave

Look for a model or brand on the device and do a google search

If you want to test Comfort, remove the wires from the Comfort zone  and use a wire to open and short the input. This should trigger the programmed alarm.

Sorry, my mistake. Yes, its the Comfort. I think the slave is over it.
I tried to get some info from the damn device, but only has a few letters and I could not find anything..  Sad
Do you think it would be possible to connect the 3 sensors to the confort, using also open/short configuration ?   Should I connect each sensor to one zone or can I use this method (all 3 connect together) ?

We cannot  say if connecting the sensor to Comfort would work, without knowing how it works
If it gives a relay contact then you can connect it to the Comfort input
Even so you should not connect 3 sensors to a single zone

The only thing I can find on the board is \"JR-INUN\", which takes me nowwhere.. Sad
The Pins on the board are (left to right):
  • 1 & 2 : Sensors Input   (all three flood sensors are connected here)
  • 3 & 4 : 12v power
  • 5 & 6 : output to the Confort
Also we can see the buzzer (never heard it, probably not configured by the jumpers).
My neighboor has one of this boards per sensor.....
Are there any similar devices out there, that you know ?

If all 3 sensors are connected to the same input, it could be that the sensors are normally open contacts so when any one is closed, then the input is also closed
If so then it may be possible to connect to Comfort and program as normally Open zones types.
Do the sensors require power?

Hi.
Yes, I think they are only open/closed sensors.In the 3rd post I sent an image (one on the right side).The sensor is only connected with the wires going to the device INPUT, wihout any power (although they seem to be able to be used in other ways, looking at the board).

Looking at that board, the only functionality I could see it doing is...

1) Aggregating the Flood Sensor inputs (Normally Open). This is a little weird as you would never know what sensor tripped (you neighbour has one of these boards per sensor, which makes more sense)
2) Has a buzzer, to alarm on trigger (maybe)
3) Maybe giving the option of giving a normally closed or normally open output, to comfort (jumper setting)

Ideally you could do away with this board and connect these sensors to Comfort, one input per sensor, that way you can tell which one tripped, it looks like the sensor has a relay controlled output, so acts like a PIR for example.

The only gotcha would be if the outputs \'latch\', hence the need for this board - this can be easily tested with a multimeter across the sensor outputs
