All,
I thought I\'d share my little project with the community. For the last couple of months I fiddled with an interface between Arduino and Comfort for the purpose of interfacing to DS18B20 sensors. From the attachments you can see the little board I made that can take four sensors and connect directly to Comfort via the RS485 bus.
My \'Arduino RIO\' as I call it, plugs into an Arduino UNO and has a passthrough for a LCD Shield. The idea is to have status and some basic configuration on the LCD but have a proper ComfortClient Plugin that can configure the device as Comfigurator has no idea what the new device is.
Once this passes all my testing I will build a standalone unit the size of a real RIO board. For now the UNO connected device is perfect for me to do the software and firmware side of things.
Cheers,
Ingo
PS. I had a longish post all typed up but then my browser crashed and I ended up with a short and to the point one - sorry.
