Zone trouble

I have installed 150 Glass break sensor and 50 magnetic sensor  it is converted in 16 zone but every day different different zone trouble.please help me.

Are there any End Of line Resistors for each zone?
If not the zone shunts JZ1 to JZ8 must be placed in the position nearer to the terminal blocks (see the installation Manual)

If there are EOL resistors then place the shunts awayf rom the terminal blocks

if the zone shunts are positioned correctly, assuming NO eOL resistors installed, ie shunt closer to the terminal blocks, then remove the zone terminal blocks from the system so the zones wires are not connected

Is there a zone trouble?

If no zone trouble that means that what you are connecting is causing the zone trouble

There should be No Voltage from the glass break and other sensors. They shouyld be giving only open/close contacts If the sensors are providing voltage then it will cause zone trouble
Check what is the output of the sensors

sir am not able to understand what is written in manual so please help me.write me in simpler explanation.

ake sure you have the corrrect maual . The Comfort 2  Installation Manual can be downloaded from https://www.cytech.biz/installation_manual.html
This explains the End of Line resistors (see page 25 thereabouts)

The purpose of End Of Line resistor is for the panel to detect if the wire has been cut.


End of Line Resistors are installed by the installer so you would know if they are installed or not. If  they are not installed, then the zone shunts should be positioned on the header closer to the blue terminal block (or connector). Check that the shunts have  not fallen off This is also shown in the Installation Manual

If the zone shunts are placed away from the terminal block and there is no End of Line Resistor, then you get Zone Trouble. I suspect that this is the problem
I assume there are no end of line resistors in the contacts
check which zone has zone trouble and check that the zone shunts is placed closer to the blue terminal block

see the photo attached  showing End of Line Resistor connnection (whuch you probably do NOT have)

my sensor is NO NC contact there is not voltage , there is only potential free contact.

The reason for zone trouble is due to wrong placement of shunts of incorrect use of EOL  resistors or wiring problems, due to wires shorted to something.

Try this test. For all the zones that have zone trouble, disconnect the blue terminal blocks from the Panel, check that the zone shunts are placed AWAY from the terminal blocks.  Now there should not be any wires connected to the zone at all

Is there still zone trouble?

If NOT, then the zone trouble is caused by the wiring or the sensors. Either the wires are shorted somewhere or the sensors are not giving a dry contact

I think main problem is resistance because wire length is approximately 100 to 120 meters 10 to 15 sensor connected in series....there is a cat 6 wire ....have any dolution please tell me....I can\'t change sensor & I can\'t soldering each sensor .....because client is there staying..

I am sorry, you have not followed any of the instructions and given the results.
200 meters wiring should not be any problem
