UCM2 is not a UCM/KNX2
#1
Hi,
Recently, I had some problems with UCM/KNX or UCM/KNX2.
When I try write to EEPROM, I have a error: \"UCM 2 is not a UCM/KNX2\". And when I try a second time I have a diferent error: \"Error writing configurator\".
If I try Read from EEPROM, I can but is isn\'t the configuration what I want.
How can I solve this problem?

Best regards,
Thanks.

First do a reset of Comfort and see if the problem still exitis

if so, then do Scan for Modules again and clock Copy to Clipboard below comfigurayro main window
Paste to a text file and send to support@cytech.biz

Hi David
The General  UCM used for Programming firmware is only 5.192
see attached screenshot
It needs to be upgraded to the latest version 7
However for version 5 UCM firmware you need to have another UCM to upgrade this ucm using the UCM programming cable
see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1782.html

When it has been upgraded to UCM firmware version 7, then this UCM can be used to upgrade Comfort ansd the UCM/KNX2 without the programming cable, just use Comfigurator
If you do not have another UCM/USB or ETH03 perhaps you can borrow a UCM or ask Vestereme to to the upgrade for you

By the way you cannot paste an image onto a post in the forum, it will not accept it and will display garbage
