That indicates that the proble is the UCM not the ETH03 ethernet connection
What is the error that you get? \"Failed to connect to UCM\" ?
Please check the red D9 and Green D10 leds on the UCM when you have this problem. Are both blinkimg?

Comms has gone again!
The error from Comfigurator is Failed to connect to UCM
The red LED is blinkinb, though not very brightly. The green LED is flickering.
Oddly - this time comms re-establshed without intervention.

Normally the D10 green led blinks very fast, that is the received polling from Comfort. It bibks when Comfort polls any device
The D9 red led blinks more slowly, this is reply to Comfort Poll, si it blunks only when comfort polls and the UCM replies.
If D10 and D9 are blinking the UCM is working on the Rs485 bus. If you cannot log in it may be an ethernet problem

I seem to be having a similar issue with my 6.5 year old UCM/ETH3.
Intermittently it drops off the network and only recovers when the reset button is pressed on the ETH03 module. At the time I have observed the UCM D9 and D10 lights are still flashing but the link and activity lights are off. I have swapped ethernet cables.
Are there any other troubleshooting issues to check or is this a sign the ETH03 module is failing?

It looks like an ETG03 problem.
Try upgrading the ETH03 firmware again (not the uCM firmware) with the same 2.23, but ithat may not be able to fix it. A new ETH03 or wifi01 may be the best option

Thank you for the advice.
I re-upgraded the firmware, it seemed to stay up for longer than before but has just failed again.
I have ordered a new ETH03
