If Cytech are to stay ahead of the home automation game the product needs to continue to evolve.
If Comfigurator is now being split into more of a user section and an Engineer section (I\'m all for this) can we start to develop a service and maintenance program to enhance the Engineer side and thus provide added benefit to the installer.
Here are a few ideas
The light sensor I have already mentioned - we have a simple loop in the code that allerts the service centre (our office) when the light sensor fails (does not turn on and off during te course of a day.
We also add as standard dial outs to te service centre of RS232 faults and low battery.
I would like to see a monitor for all brush motor devices such as washing machines etc this could be achieved by a current sensor and a timer in comfort.
There must be a whole raft of different service items that could be monitored and thus reported on.
.......... any other ideas welcome......
