RS232 fire alarm reporting?
#1
I have HomeVision connected permanently to Comfort and have just finished a CBus install. All CBus interfacing is done via a HomeVision/xAP/CBus gateway.

I now want to turn lights on when various Comfort alarms are reported but wondered what the best RS232 report is to trigger this?

Should I be checking for \"AMnn\" or \"ALnn\" etc and which codes? I want to make sure I don\'t miss the report in odd situations etc.

I\'d like to do something on FIRE and INTRUDER alarms.

Thanks,

Paul.

Yes - have an old doc - but wanted to know which message to watch - the fire alarm one says triggered from an action???

CBus is fab - just playing with Kevin Hawkins\' HV/CBus/xAP gateway - very good Smile Have the 12 DLT\'s fully programmed and working - very swish Smile

Ben\'s a good lad!

Use the AL message for fire alarm triggered from a zone

The AM for Fire alarm is for the keypad short cut keys F+NIGHT only
