error while upgrading ULT

we have a situation here, we can\'t solve

our system is ULT 5.145, UCM05 5.164, we was upgrading firmware for ULT  5.183
our engineer did  follow the step ( as it wasn\'t the first time for him)
but as he reported :

[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]-connect the other ends to ucm ( pp1 , pp3 [/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]-switch comfort on [/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]-comfigrator , transfer , firmware download[/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]-navigate firmware ult 5.183 ( .cbf )[/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"] [/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]-message :[/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"] [/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]1-firmware for controller type 254 v5.183.cbf will be upgraded ( ok )[/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]2-error download[/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"] [/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"] [/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"]when we tried again, the attached message appear \"product number or type doesn\'t match\"[/size][/font]
[font=\"arial\"][size=\"2\"] and error msg on the keypad \"[/size][/font][font=\"arial\"][size=\"1\"]keypad appear message \" ID#1 VER 1.08r \"[/size][/font]

so your support is appreciated here thanks

You need to use UCM 5.178 or above to upgrade firmware. Your version 5.164 is not able to recover from an error like this during the upgrade. See forum http://www.comfortforums.com/forum4/1783.html whuch states the minimum UCM firmware to be used



If you have another UCM, you can use one to upgrade the other to the latest firmwqare UCM 5.200 so both are up to date

Once you have upgraded the firmware you can use it to complete the upgrading of the Comfort firmware
