Comfort II Firmware - Non Flash
#1
These firmware versions are of the Non-Flash Type which means the firmware cannot be upgraded without changing the plug in MPU

The MPU replaces the onboard microcontroller and allows its firmware to be upgraded using Comfigurator, see the post at http://www.comfortforums.com/forum92/2409.html

It is recommended that the firmware for 5.054 to 5.079 be upgraded by buying a MPU module if changes to the configuration or additions to the system need to be made

2. GSM – Fixed situation where calling to GSM sometimes does not connect to GSM but line is connected. Happens for some networks where connection status is longer than 4 seconds  Delay time to accept call was increased to 9 seconds.
3. GSM - fix bug where if gsm takes exactly 5 seconds between command to accept the call and status connected, the timeout and end call is sent at the same time as the gsm connected status from UCM, and when next call comes, the call is not accepted but caller does not know and line remains connected.
Version 5.075 (11 January 2007)

1. Dont allow external ucm command M! to arm while system is already arming
2. Fixed BUG in local arm to day/night by phone/KP, after armed, menu goes back to security check
3. Battery fixed BUG after battery disconnected and Battery warning alarm, then do Battery test without battery again, the battery disconnect timer runs again and battery disconnect is not disabled because there is no new battery alarm.
4. Configuration Flag added  to allow arming in low battery.
Version 5.069 (6 November 2006)

1. Changed battery disconnect function. If battery is detected disconnected, it will not be tested again UNTIL reset or a manual battery test F3,1. This prevents output voltages from sagging every 10 seconds if battery is disconnected even if Nondetector alarm for low battery is 0.
2. For Battery test, Master will send Battery test command to Slaves. SEMs can accept the command but previous Comfort firmware did not send it.. SEM 5.082 will stop battery test on its own, ie not wait for Master to send the stop Battery test command
3. in test mode tM01, low battery count is reduced to 2 seconds and Flat battery CUT occurs immediately. For production testing.
4. The following points were implemented in 5.068
5. voice menu main menu if armed 1 to arm is not heard but could be selected. Prevent selection of 1 for arm
6. Fixed Bug for chinese, using sentence 17 for suffix Press N in action key menu, the action key is not announced correctly eg for Off, Press 0, for On, Press 1.

9. Fixed BUG - if alarm and line is cut, pick up phone announce alarm but wait for time out, will CUT LINE permanent cannot restore until remote sign in
10. Dont allow external ucm command to arm while system is already arming
Version 5.067 (16 October 2006)

1. Introduced Battery Disconnect Detection. Non Detector Alarm for Low Battery enables this option, ie if Low Battery Non-detector alarm Type is > 0, system will detect disconnected battery every 10 seconds and treat it as Low Battery alarm. If Low Battery or NO Battery is found in Battery disconnect test, the Low Battery alarm will activate. The Timed Low Battery Test will not occur if there is NO Battery connected. If Flat Battery is detected when AC is OFF, Battery is disconnected. Battery is not disconnected if Mains is ON
2. Low Battery detection introduced confirmation time of 60 seconds so that fluctuations in battery volatge will not cause multiplew alarm anxd restore
3. Flat Battery Detection introduced timer of 10 seconds to confirm before switching off Battery
4. During Battery test dont cut off the battery even if flat, activate Low battery alarm and apply AC
5. RS232 command I? and Say zone feedback will report bypassed zones which are ON as ON, not OFF
6. Power Fail LED and Low Battery Leds will restore when acknowledged. If an alarm state exist when signing in, and system is disarmed any restored AC/Low battery state on LEDs will be restored
7. Allow 8 MB Flash to be used if detected at Sector 0 Page 0, word 32: 1st byte = Flash size 0 = 4 mb, 1 = 8 mb, 2 = 16 mb, FF = 4 Mbit to identify Flash memory size. Require Prog36K 5.061 to program 4M/8M flash
8. Fixed bug for Say Holiday Month. Holiday Announcement for Month was not for months. The BUG is only heard with anita25 because it uses sentence 123 to announce month of argument. Anita24 announces current month all the time
9. AC Fail to be detected in 10 seconds to comply with EN50131
10. Broadcast Time reduced from 70 ms to 33 ms reduce broadcast delays when there are many broadcasts to Rs485
11. If Recorded message < 2 seconds, delete message and ensure that New message LED does not light up.
12. 24 hour alarm while arming will cause alarms (not just announce in security check) if detectors are open or not open in all states, ie before door closed, and after door closed. Check that Tamper causes immediate alarm while arming
13. Allow KP Siren to sound for alarm if low battery is on. Before, alarm siren on KP is disabled if if low battery to save battery but that is confusing when testing on battery.
14. When recording message from telephone, the DTMF message which ends the recording is cut off
15. During recording, detect DIAL tone as UK has dial tone after calling party has hung up, not busy tone. UK users have reported that Dial Tone (Number unobtainable) continuous tone is heard when call is ended instead of Busy tone and was recorded in the message
16. Fixed BUG remote arm and disarm always report user 90 inst of user
17. If Non-detector alarm for the Trouble alarms (phone trouble, zone trouble, Low Battery, Power Failure, Tamper, Siren Trouble) is = 0, the alarm is not activated and no trouble led will blink If Low Battery Nondetector alarm=0 Power LED will not turn on if Low battery. In Power Failure Nondetector alarm=0, AC LED will not turn on if power fail
18. Door Station: FIXED DP Speaker problem of being able to hear the menu when it is not supposed to in certain circumstances. Some Users complain that Door station announces Away Mode sometimes even though options is disabled and when talk to door station ended the menu can be heard
19. Introduced Voice Reset if voice is lost. Event Log will report Voice Reset as the system attempts to reset the voice. \"Voice Reset OK\" is new sentence for Anita 26 whch reports if the reset is successful
20. Fixed bug ANNOUNCE ZONE ACTION will announce zone trouble if another zone is in trouble or was in trouble until another non-disabled zone or security check.
21. Backlight: Fixed problem backlight remains on after alarm on keypads which are not used to sign in.
22. If DSP loses voice, automatically RESET system to attempt to recover the voice (one attempt only)
Version 5.054 (17 June 2006)

1. Dont switch off KP backlight when sign in to disarm or when KP is idle, eg after pressing F0 or F and any key which does not produce a menu. Before when it is dark and the system is disarmed, the backlight is switched off, leaving the KP dark. An alarm if state >= alert will turn on the backlight, until the keypad itself turns it off after time out of a key
2. Fixed bug - If record time is > remaining time, deleting oldest saved messages does not allow new message to be recorded, so the record message menu exits without recording. Now the oldest saved message will be deleted and memory freed up for recording of new message
3. if memory available is less than programmed record time and no more saved messages to delete allow recording to go ahead with remaining available memory if it is > 10 seconds. Hence even if record time is 250 seconds and there is less than 250 seconds available, the recording proceeds with less allowable record time
4. Delete all Mailboxes fixed
Known Issues

1. Announce zone bug – when zone trouble present, another zone trigger wil announce Trouble if announce action is applied (Since 2004)
2. Event Log and holiday says current month not event log month. Not firmware bug - mistake in sentence 123, need anita25.
3. Holiday month announcment wrong with anita25
4. After remote arm, keypad can hear still user menu after detector check announcements on KP
5. if AC fail or low battery alarm together with Intruder alarm at the same time, the POWER led does not change
