It\'s been a long time since i have setup a IR, I have copied the TX from the remote via the ethernet UCM, that was fine.
The issue is when IR is connected to an output I cannot find the files I need to associate with responces in \"Responce Wizard\"
Cannot remember how I done it before, Am I missing out on the programming as cannot find in manual for programing IR in \"Responces\"

I have a 4.169 console.  The system has been connected, but, really unused for over 10 years (maybe more). 
I don\'t have contact details for the original installer. I am waiting for a USB/RS232 cable to see if I can pull the details into Comfigurator. 
I have some questions..
1) Can I see the engineer code in Comfigurator? If not, how can I reset?2) What is the specific module I need to connect it to my ethernet. I know there are newer versions..3) Are there any installers in Ireland?

Pretty much the title says it all.I\'ve just added a 4th SEP but all the zones have the virtual input box ticked and I can\'t untick them.
Strangely the first 5 zones of SEP5 (81 through 85) also show as virtual as do the last 2 (95 and 96) although that makes no odds as I\'m unlikely to add a 5th SEP.
I have a Velbus UCM installed but not connected to anything - this is for a future X10 replacement project. 
No KNX or Cbus although I did add phantom UCMs at one point just to have a look at the possibilities but they have been deleted long ago. If I re-add them I can\'t see any mappings that would force those zones to virtual.
How can I get those zones back to normal?

There is the RM2 Pro unit https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01H6Y55QQ which can control IR and 433Mhz devices - very interesting. The SDK isn\'t open, but some clever folks have built a couple of tools, once of which is the RM Commander builder tool - see here http://milillicuti.com/an-api-to-connect...on-system/
From what I can see, that Windows tool can build a command to control a device - see this 
Do we think the UCM Ethernet could throw out this size of string to be sent to the RM2 Pro unit?

Dear master,
I have a Paradox 465 that connected to the system [Immediate type], with no resistor in the connection. For the first day, the system works normally. But on the 2nd day, the sensor will trigger in the midnight. Checked the sensor area, does not have curtain, light, pets that cause the alarm. So, suspect that is a false alarm.
I have returned the Paradox 465 and claim for a new one, but same thing happen. Is there any way I can check if the zone trigger for twice, then only I take it as a real alarm?
I have tried to set the alarm type to [Alert type], but it get worst where the alarm will keep trigger.
Is there anything I can play around with the Response to check if the alarm trigger twice after X seconds?

Christmas has come around again and I find myself stuck controlling lights and trees, as my modified RFXCom unit failed during the year and it was going to be far too costly to repair. Not only that it was a nightmare to implement because of the heavy customisation to get it working with the UCM Ethernet. So I find myself looking for a new method to remotely control appliances.
I require Comfort to control plug in 240v appliances, not lighting as I have CBUS.
What\'s the consensus here on the best system today? I have a spare UCM/Ethernet now, but I\'m not against a 12v Comfort switched system over CAT5 to locally control a 240v unit but I didn\'t find anything (shame).
LightwaveRF?ZWave? (I\'d need to buy the UCM tho, I\'d rather not)X10 very unreliable in my house, so discountedAnything else?

This is a poll on the answering machine feature in Comfort
When the product was developed in 1996, the answering machine with 8 mailboxes may have been more useful than it is today. Now, even landlines are becoming obsolete and calls are made to mobile phones rather than to the house phones

Is this a useful feature or should it be removed or the functionality reduced in future versions of the product (to make room for other features)
